# Checkpoint resets OMP context natively

The OMP-native commune skill has an explicit checkpoint mode that saves the live endpoint's continuity, resets OMP context through native session APIs, and wakes the same endpoint from the saved state without operator intervention. Claude `/clear` keystroke choreography was rejected as a foreign-harness race surface, and save-only checkpointing was rejected because it does not preserve the agent-driven save/reset/resume outcome; endpoint identity remains immutable even though its working context is renewed.
