# Continuity drops live under `.spt/`

Native OMP endpoints write commune and signoff file-drops under the project-local `.spt/` directory. These files belong to the SPT continuity contract rather than to OMP configuration, so a harness-neutral directory makes ownership explicit and avoids retaining the fork’s misleading `.claude/` path. The existing endpoint-qualified commune and signoff filenames remain the identity boundary consumed by spt-core.
