## What shipped (single surface, end-user voice)
**Fixed** — periodic ~30s CPU spikes on nodes with long session histories. The
peer-directory (recent-project gossip) announcement re-derived a project id once per
session-history ROW (~200 git-process launches every 30s); now derives ONCE per
distinct working directory per advertisement round. No wire/behavior/docs changes.
